Shiloh Within Counselling Approach
Our approach to counselling
When you click on the BOOK NOW button you will be able to choose an appointment time to suit you. You will then receive the Counselling Agreement via email, to read, fill in, and return. Your appointment will be confirmed the day prior.
✻ Throughout the counselling journey, I will highlight your strengths and help you look for solutions, as I am a natural encourager and enjoy the motivational and strength-based approaches to psychotherapies.
✻ I also include such techniques as relaxation, CBT and ACT when it will be beneficial, with the goal to tailor the counselling experience to suit your specific, individual needs.
✻ I counsel with a holistic approach to see how you are travelling in the different key areas of your life.
✻ The most important thing is that we work together to help you reach your goals for the counselling process. I will check in with you regularly to see that what we are doing is suitable for you. You get to drive!

Did you know that you are still usually required to pay a gap even if using a mental health plan to see a psychologist? The gap can be significant and often more than what I charge . Please book a FREE 15 min inquiry call to discuss further.

Yes! Online counselling is as effective as face-to-face! Counselling requires many micro-skills to pick up on voice cues, tones, body language, the spoken word, etc. My counselling skills are tuned in to suit the environment and the results of counselling are as successful whether online or in person.
